Family Support and Outreach

Our early intervention family support and outreach services are aimed at families who may be struggling to cope with different challenges facing parents in today’s society. Our team of experienced family support workers provide support to families using the Strengthening Families Programme approach including: Positive Parenting and Family life skills training. We work with children and young people, by engaging them in activities and mentoring them in life skills which may lead to positive outcomes. Our staffs are trained to work with young people with challenging behaviour and a range of physical disabilities and learning difficulties. In addition, we recognise that each family is unique therefore; we work with each family using Strengths-Based Perspective family plans and all interventions are provided from a strengths- based perspective that meets needs and decreases risk. At Focus Findings Family Care services we believe that part of the success of our intervention begins with staff matching, therefore we strive to ensure that we match staff experience, skills and culture to each family involved.

Focus Findings Family Care focuses on providing required support at the earliest opportunity to prevent crisis and the escalation of need for children, young people and their families.
